iomart Hosting named as BCS/UK IT Industry Awards finalist

iomart Group plc is proud to announce that its managed and cloud hosting brand, iomart Hosting, has been named a finalist in this year's BCS/UK IT Industry Awards.
iomart Hosting received a nomination in the Best Environmental Project of the Year category for its Customer Control Panel. The control panel provides customers with real time data on their power consumption and subsequent CO2 emissions.
David Clarke, Chief Executive Officer BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT said: “Congratulations to all the finalists. They can be proud of their achievements. Their projects and work showcase the professionalism that exists among IT professionals and also highlights the value of IT today and the way it touches so many areas of society.”
The BCS Awards winners will be announced at a ceremony in London’s Battersea Park Events Centre on 11th November 2010.
