iomart Hosting wins data security contract with managed services provider Tectrade

iomart Hosting has won a competitive tender and is now providing Tectrade with colocation services from its Tier 3 London data centre. Tectrade runs a remote managed backup/recovery service for its customers using iomart Hosting’s London data centre as the primary site with its own HQ premises in Godalming acting as a failover.

Tectrade provides multi-million pound remote managed services to customers across the public, legal, financial and motoring sectors. Until now the infrastructure to deliver the remote managed services for those customers has been provided in house.

Tectrade plans to utilise iomart Hosting’s Glasgow data centre facility in the near future if the business continues to grow at its current level.

Alex Fagioli Technical Director of Tectrade stated:” iomart Hosting might not have been the cheapest but it was the intangibles they brought to the table that really won us over. The account manager we have worked with was first class and our initial site visit was phenomenal. We have been very impressed.”
