iomart is proud to announce that Altigen has chosen it to host its new cloud communications service for UK businesses.
Here is the official news release from Altigen:
SAN JOSE, CA / July 9, 2018 / Altigen Communications (OTCQB: ATGN), a Silicon Valley based provider of Hosted Skype for Business and Contact Centre solutions, and iomart Group PLC (AIM: IOM), the managed cloud services specialist, announce a strategic partnership to deliver a comprehensive UK-based cloud communications service providing a one stop solution for modern business communications.
The partnership between Altigen and iomart was established to deliver a scalable, resilient and feature rich voice and multimedia cloud communications service based on the Microsoft Skype for Business platform, Altigen’s natively integrated advanced routing and queuing applications, deployed and managed in iomart’s ISO 9001 PCI/DSS compliant data centres. The companies have also selected Gamma Telecom Ltd. (LSE: GAMA), the UK’s leading provider of voice, data and mobile products and services, to deliver cost effective SIP trunk services.
According to Paul Fullman, Altigen’s Vice President of EMEA, “As one of the very first Microsoft ISVs designing and deploying natively integrated contact centre solutions for Microsoft’s UC platforms, Altigen’s goal is to eliminate complex, difficult to support on premises architectures with a comprehensive cloud communications service. In conjunction with iomart, we were able to leverage our collective areas of expertise to provide a fully managed cloud service to Microsoft partners and customers.”
Paul Jeffrey, iomart’s Technical Services Director, said, “iomart is a world class provider of data centre infrastructure solutions, owning and managing our own highly accredited network of data centres across eight locations in the UK, and working with partners to provide cloud services to help businesses innovate in the workplace. Together with Altigen we can now deliver a complete unified communications solution built on our highly available, secure data centre network for both public and private sector organisations.”
Gamma’s Head of the Cloud & Infrastructure Channel, Mike Mills, commented, “We’re pleased to be working with Altigen and iomart to deliver Gamma’s SIP trunk services for their new cloud UC solution. Together we’re able to provide Microsoft partners and customers with a truly integrated solution at highly competitive price points.”
The new cloud unified communications service is a complete cloud offering including Hosted Skype for Business, with integration to Office 365 and Altigen’s advanced call management applications such as Multimedia Contact Centre, Hunt Groups, Real-time Monitoring, Call Recording and Reporting. Gamma’s SIP Trunk services are also included in the solution, offering both national and international calling plans. The entire solution is fully managed and supported 24 x7 by iomart.
The cloud communications solution is distributed primarily through Microsoft certified business partners, who manage the end-to-end deployment and support process while also providing a variety of additional Microsoft solutions such as Office 365.
