Appointment of Non-Executive Director

iomart Group plc (AIM: IOM), the cloud computing company, is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Taylor as a Non-Executive Director of the Company, with effect from 1 August 2021. As described in the Company's Final Results announcement in June, the Board has sought the appointment of a fourth independent Non-Executive Director to add additional sector skills to support the execution of the Group's refreshed medium term strategic plan and is delighted to have secured an executive of Andrew's experience and calibre.

Andrew has over 25 years' experience in the telecommunications industry, and has a demonstrable track record of achievement in previous roles, both in the UK and internationally. He is the CEO of Gamma Communications plc, a leading provider of unified communication services to the business market in Western Europe.

The following information is disclosed in accordance with Rule 17 and paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules for Companies:

Mr Taylor was, from 2013 to 2018, director of Nomad Digital India Private Ltd, a dormant subsidiary of Nomad Digital. Whilst dormant, the subsidiary was required to file an annual return in India however did not do so, and consequently Mr Taylor was disqualified from being a director in India for five years, commencing November 2016.

Mr Taylor does not currently hold any shares, or any interest over shares, in the Company.

There is no further information required to be disclosed under Rule 17 or paragraph (g) of Schedule 2 of the AIM Rules for Companies.
