How Uniserve strengthened performance, stability and scalability with Iomart

When their existing data centre hosting began to show signs of strain, including service issues and an increase in P1 incidents, the IT team recognised the need for change. This was the starting point for deeper conversations about performance, scalability and long-term direction.
Working closely with Uniserve’s team, Iomart rebuilt their private cloud environment on our Iomart VMware Cloud platform - aligned with VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF). We followed a structured best-practice methodology and designed for agility, scalability and resilience.
The migration didn’t stop at infrastructure. We also supported the transition of their virtual desktop estate from Citrix to Azure Virtual Desktop - creating a roadmap that balanced VMware private cloud stability with future-facing Azure capability.
